Double Distilled Water is manufactured in Greece by Diamond industry and it is distributed in Athens by Biochemical Informatics Solutions. It is a reverse osmosis product suitable for filling purposes for laboratory analyzers (Biochemical, Immunological και Histochemistry), as well as for buffers and reagents reconstitution and dilutions.

For the production of Double Distilled Water, Attica water supply network is used. Due to the high salinity and solid suspensions, the network water goes through an automatic quartz filter and softener prior to entering reverse osmosis system RWRO 300 for the final treatment.

Reverse osmosis system RWRO 300 consists of: a) a 2 filter set in syringe form for the solid removal, b) activated carbon for chlorine and organic molecules removal, c) reverse osmosis membrane, d) joint couch double resin for deionization, and e) bacteriostatic filter 0,1 mic for ion exchanging resin particles removal. Finally, Double Distilled Water goes through a UV lamp, prior to exiting the reverse osmosis system, for the aseptic storage in a plastic container with recycle system. Double Distilled Water is pumped from this container for the final packaging.

Double Distilled Water is available in 4 L appropriate plastic bottles (PE-HD), carton packaging 4 x 4L.
